Document Description
The Farm in Poway project (proposed project) consists of a General Plan Amendment and Zoning Amendment to change the land use and zoning designation of the project site from Open Space – Recreation (OS-R) to Planned Community (PC-9). The amendments consist of both a Map Amendment and Zoning Text Amendments. Currently the PC zone may only be applied to properties 300 acres or larger. The
text amendment will revise this portion of the text to allow properties of 100 acres or larger. In addition, a new section would be added to the Zoning Ordinance that briefly describes the proposed project. This designation is consistent with other Specific Plan areas throughout the City.
