- The project proposes interior alterations to a state-owned facility that includes to secure entry doors and the addition of card readers and partial height walls to the sixth floor. Additionally, modular system furniture workstation will be moved into a secure area in accordance with the California Building Code Section 11 B-202.4 Path of Travel requirements. New accessibility upgrades totaling twenty percent of construction costs will include a new recessed entry mat at the ground floor, main entry and fourteen new room signs on the sixth floor corridor. These activities will improve security as well as accessibility within this state-owned building.
