Document Description
The ''Symbiosis Gathering" is proposed for September 19-23 of 2019 at East Park Reservoir (EPR) in the existing developed recreational area that has previously accommodated similar events. The event will include live music and educational workshops. The event promoters. estimate up to 20,000 attendees. The area involved in the project area will encompass approximately 260-acres and utilize approximately 22.8 miles of County maintained roads. Of the 260-acres identified in the application: 150 acres will he utilized for the camping and car camping area; 50 acres for parking; 30 to 50 acres for the entertainment and education zone; and 10 acres for staff operations. The project applicants estimate a maximum of 10,000 vehicles will be accessing the site during the 5 day event. The project applicant and Bureau,of Reclamation have incorporated Best Management Practices into the project to address any potential impacts related to air quality, biological resources, greenhouse gas emissions, hazardous materials; water quality, noise, public services (emergency responders), traffic and transportation .systems, and utilities and service systems.
