The project purpose is to rehabilitate the eastbound traveled way and shoulders of Interstate 8, consisting of but not limited to removing and replacing the outside lanes with Portland Cement Concrete (PCC), replacing bridge approach and departure slabs, and placing rumblestrips along inside and outside mainline shoulders.
