Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a maintenance project to inspect and overlay the Delta-Mendota Canal Bridge (Bridge No. 29-0037) on Interstate (I) 205 within San Joaquin County. The scope of work includes removal of the asphalt-concrete on the bridge deck to inspect the condition of the deck before overlaying it with polyester concrete. All work will occur within Caltrans Right of Way (ROW). The purpose of this project is to visually inspect the condition of the bridge. The project is needed to determine the proper maintenance required to minimize future rehabilitations and keep the bridge structurally functional and safe.
