Lake Berryessa Mussel Prevention Program employs staff to conduct inspections and education for boaters before launching their watercraft. This inspection determines if they are at risk for transporting aquatic invasive species. The project offers a cleaning service to watercraft determined at risk.
The primary function of this project consist of data/information gathering and verbal education. This project is intended to protect a natural resource from an invasive species introduction and it does not result in a major disturbance to an environmental resource.
