Document Description
This project would leverage $4,999,956 of Energy Commission grant funds to enable Aemetis Advanced Products Keyes, Inc. to construct and operate a cellulosic ethanol facility in Riverbank, CA. The project will have the capacity to produce 7.5 million diesel gallon equivalents (OGE) of ethanol per year from almond and walnut wood waste, as well as approximately 52,000 MMBTU of biogas and 3,400 tons year of a high-protein fish food co-product per year. The resulting fuel is expected to have a carbon intensity of-43.56 gCO2e/MJ and is expected to eliminate 144,874 MTCO2e per year in greenhouse gas emissions.
