In addition, 20 manual Dynamic cone penetrometers (DCP) tests will be used on the stream bank where limited access is available to depths between 5 and 15 feet. All work will be conducted on the stream bank and top of bank adjacent to the boring locations. No in-channel work or access is necessary. After the boring or DCP test, the hole will be closed and backfilled with cement grout. The work area will then be restored to its original condition, with 1 to 2 feet of native soil placed on top of the grouted bore holes. Excess soil and drilling waste will be hauled offsite.
