Reasons for Exemption
Prior to the 2017 storm events, the Mariposa Creek channels were mostly clear of dead vegetation. The storms of 2017 /2018 deposited dead vegetation in the stream channel which diverts flow to nearby property. The creek channel needs to be restored to a free flowing stream, additional storm events will destroy nearby Wastewater Treatment Facility.
