Notice of Exemption
- Exempt Status
- Categorical Exemption
- Type, Section or Code
- 15301, 15302
- Reasons for Exemption
- The project was identified during the City's fire flow assessment to improve fire flows in the project area. The project replaces existing water mains (15302) with larger diameter water mains for the purpose of increasing available fire flows. The project includes installation of one water main parallel to an existing water main (15301) to increase available fire flows. The project also includes striping for ADA crosswalk(s) and ADA curb ramps within existing streets and sidewalks (15301). The project does not expand existing uses, occurs entirely within paved areas and does not have unusual circumstances that would except it from being categorically exempt
