The Southwest Valley Community Plans Update is comprised of three of the City's 35 Community Plans, which make up the Land Use Element of the General Plan. The proposed project is an update of the Southwest Valley Community Plans, and the adoption of necessary updates to land use designations, zoning, plan text, and other ordinances to implement those updates. The Proposed Plans direct future growth to already urbanized and transit-oriented areas of each Plan area.
