The existing Yolo Bypass levee will be breached at Shag Slough and partially degraded to provide tidal and flood connectivity between Shag Slough and the Lookout Slough project site. The existing Cache/Hass Slough levee will be improved to increase stability and reduce long-term maintenance cost.
