Document Description
The Mountain View School Whole Site Modernization Project includes installation of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) at all permanent buildings throughout campus, interior and exterior finishes replacements, the addition of single point of entry security features at the administration building, and upgrades to the fire alarm system, restrooms, doors, windows and pathways to meet current code requirements and energy efficiency goals. Outside, the site will be improved by reconfiguration of the play areas, repair of deteriorated hardscape as needed, installation of new hydration stations, shade structures, and a solar photovoltaic array, and repair and improvements to irrigation and landscaping. The security camera system will be expanded to provide coverage across the campus. New campus entry monument signage will be provided. 10 portable classrooms and a connecting elevated walkway will be removed, new playground, hardscape, and landscape features will be added in their place. Construction of the project would begin in April of 2024 and last through August 2027.
