Document Description
The OHMVR Division will award grant funds to the Eldorado National Forest for the Forest-wide Restoration Project. The U.S. Forest Service (USFS), Eldorado National Forest plans to restore approximately 23.5 acres (6.35 miles) of non-system trails and other areas disturbed by OHV use in four ranger districts (Amador, Georgetown, Pacific, and Placerville) in El Dorado County, California. The restoration work would take place in five different locations in the four Ranger Districts. Activities proposed include obliterating and restoring abandoned trail corridors, installing barriers (rocks and/or gates), mulching, planting, and monitoring.
