Document Description
DGS prepared an Addendum to the certified EIR for the Jesse M. Unruh Building Renovation Project documenting that the project modification to restore Capitol fountain would not result in in any new or substantially more severe environmental impacts compared to those evaluated in the EIR. No subsequent CEQA document is necessary. DGS will restore Capitol fountain in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior's standards for the treatment of historic properties, rather than decommissioning and removing the fountain. The fountain will retain its current location and design, while being made fully operational. Restoration will be done concurrently with the Unruh Building renovation.
