The project includes includes a comprehensive renovation including improvements to fire and life safety; accessibility; repairs to historic elements that are deteriorating or causing deterioration; hazardous materials removal; replacement of the plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; and replacement of the electrical power, telecommunications and security systems; landscaping; and renovation of the elevators. Due to the building 's historic designation, the renovations would be designed to address the building's historic character. The project goal is to achieve Zero Net Energy and LEED Silver certification.
