Document Description
The Renewable Placer Waste Action Plan is a long-term plan to identify and evaluate changes needed to WPWMA facilities and operations. The Waste Action Plan addresses solid waste project elements, including landfill capacity expansion, composting, construction and demolition processing, and public facilities; complementary/programmatic elements, including a pilot study area, reservation of space for compatible manufacturing, reservation of space for a university research area, and reservation of space for a landfill gas to renewable fuels area; and supporting elements, including recovered materials storage areas, stormwater ponds, road crossings, maintenance areas, administrative buildings, parking areas, continued use of the existing materials recovery facility, a household hazardous waste facility, and redesigned site entrances.
