Approval of Permit No. 19508, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To remove and replace the existing Butte City Bridge (aka Sacramento River Bridge) (Br. No. 11-0017) with a new Bridge (Br. No. 11-0100) just upstream and north of the existing bridge; and to construct three (3) access ramps. The roadway approaches will be realigned to match the new bridge which will be approximately 4,686-foot long and 44-foot wide. The bridge replacement project also includes installation of temporary cofferdams, trestle and falsework to build the new bridge, replanting of native vegetation, including riparian species, and reseeding with native hydroseed.
