Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to install slope paving under bridge structures, pave and/or extend the existing gore areas, install and improve maintenance vehicle pullout (MVP), install vegetation control, and upgrade guardrail on state route (SR) 99 in the city of Modesto. The work would require trenches, grading, and ground disturbance. The purpose of the project is to provide safe access to work areas to Caltrans maintenance personnel and reduce maintenance activity requirements. This project is needed to provide maintenance personnel a reduced traffic exposure and improve safety for working conditions. The proposed work is within Caltrans right of way.
