Document Description
The LID project proposes to apply bio-filtration planters and bioswales will be added where possible to help filter out pollutants and retain water. The vegetation within the swale and the soil media will be used to filter out pollutants such as sediment, bacteria, and metals. The project will also help reduce the amount of storm water runoff left on Calabasas Road by diverting the runoff to the 10 foot wide bioswale via a trench drain.
