Azusa Unified School District (District) is experiencing declining student enrollment and proposes to close the MVES campus. Approval of the proposed project would cease all MVES school operations by the end of !he 2018-19 trimester, redistribute MVES programs to PES and VES, redistribute MVES students to PES and VES, and require realigning the District's elementary school attendance boundaries, effective the 2019-20 school year. Transferred students would be housed in existing. classroom facilities; no new. classrooms would be installed. The purpose of the proposed project is to ensure long-term financial sustainability of the District.
