Caltrans has initiated an emergency project to address a slip out that occurred adjacent to the westbound lane of SR 36. The purpose of the project is to return SR 36 to an operational condition. The project is needed as the slip out has undermined the traveled way and continues to threaten the facility and the safety of the public.
