Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-07 48-R 1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Ty Collins. The project is limited to 1 encroachment. The proposed encroachment is to upgrade a 12-inch culvert with a minimum 18-inch diameter culvert to accommodate 100-year flows and associated debris. A 12-inch culvert is not appropriately sized for a forested environment and when using a HW/D of 0.67. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the undersized culvert, replacement with new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. The Notification also discloses the primary source of water for the parcel consists of a permitted well.

The project is limited to one encroachment that includes upgrading a road/stream crossing. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
