Document Description
The BLM Ridgecrest Field Office will restore approx. 250-340 sites of closed routes through active restoration. Work includes: restoring and camouflaging· using vertical mulching, horizontal mulching, and seed pits; constructing erosion control structures, such as water bars and check dams on steep slopes; seed scattering; installing barriers and signs; photo documentation and data collection to assess restoration efficacy; and signing alternate OHV routes to keep OHV riding out of restored areas.
