Document Description
The project funds ongoing maintenance of existing roads, trails, staging areas, and campgrounds within the Chappie-Shasta OHV Area. Facilities to be maintained include two developed staging areas, two campgrounds, and approximately 100 miles of existing OHV roads and trails. Maintenance activities include trail signing; trimming overhanging vegetation; removing fallen trees; culvert, bridge, gate, and fence repair or replacement; and trail tread work (grading and armoring where necessary).
