The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed
Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0380-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Paradise Cove Homeowners Association.
The project is limited to the dredging of approximately 600 - 1,000 cubic yards of sediment from the Paradise Cove Lagoon entrance and boat ramp areas. The dredge site encompasses an area of approximately 0.2 acres. Dredging will be accomplished using one to two Aquamog clam-shell dredges paired with one to two barges pushed by a shallow water tugboat. Dredge depth will be to 1,314 feet North American Vertical Datum with a 6-inch maximum over dredge allowance. The applicant will install a turbidity curtain at the mouth of the cove during the dredging work to prevent any sediment from returning to the lake.
