Document Description
DFD staff will perform maintenance to re-establish the access route from Bethany Reservoir State Recreation Area to the weir site at MM 4.46. The unpaved path is approximately 550 feet long and 10 feet wide. The weir path is approx. 300 feet long by 10 feet wide. DFD staff will use an industrial mower on established pathways, hand tools and weed whackers to remove vegetation within the project footprint to maintain the weir efficacy for monitoring purposes. No in-water vegetation removal will occur. Removed vegetation will be hauled to green waste bins at DFD HQ for disposal at an offsite facility. All equipment staging will be located along the paved roadway. All work is within DWR right of way.
