Document Description
The Department of Water Resources (DWR) proposes to install a toe-weir and re-grade a section of the toe-road at the Bidwell Canyon Saddle Dam. The project will require excavation for the installation of the concrete headwall with the weir plate, vegetation removal for weir footprint, and re-grading of the toe road for drainage away from the seepage path. This will allow surveillance crews to record seepage measurements from Miners Ranch Canal into the Oroville Reservoir. It is necessary to survey these seepage patterns so dWR can take steps to mitigate any potential future dam safety issues or piping in the embankment.
