Document Description
This proposed parking lot and new 8 feet high security fence Will be behind the southern end of the equipment storage building to the northern corner of the resource trailer. The parking lot will parallel Highway 1 and set back from the property line approximately 10 feet. The length of the parking lot is 176 feet and width is 30 feet with a total of 17 parking spaces to accommodate State Parks' fleet vehicles. Heavy equipment will be used to remove the existing chain link and wood fence, existing vegetation, and stumps. To the extent possible, most of the native vegetation will be salvaged and transplanted outside the project area. Ground disturbance will be limited to the installation of the fence posts and minor grading to remove vegetation and contour for drainage. A compacted red rock base material topped with clean gravel will be used for the parking lot A fencing company will install 236 feet of new 8 feet link security fence with green privacy slats. Native vegetation will be installed alongside the fence for additional screening to Highway 1.
