The non-profit Imperial County Sheriff's Office Reserves Deputy (ICSORD) works in collaboration with the Imperial County Sheriff's Office (ICSO) Off-Highway Vehicle Enforcement Safety Team (OHVEST) to educate children and adults on safe operations, respect for the environment, proper safety equipment, and OHV rules and regulations. The grant will provide funding for the Reserve Program to purchase an off road (4x4) truck to better access the OHV recreation areas of Imperial County. The purchase of this vehicle will not cause an adverse impact on the environment.
