Desert Learning Center Building 500

The Palm Springs Unified School District (District) is proposing to demolish and reconstruct the existing 500 Building on the Desert Learning Academy campus to meet current code requirements. The proposed project involves the demolition of approx 14,350 sf of existing building area and the reconstruction of approx 8,000 sf of new building area within the existing building's footprint. Implementation of the proposed project would provide the District with an updated and modern school facility on the DLA campus that meets current standards. The reconstructed building would be adapted to meet the immediate and long-term educational programming needs of the campus community.
