Document Description
The Project consists of three primary components: (1) a 25-acre state-of-the-art training center and 425-acre field instruction area for journeyman and apprentice operating engineers; (2) preservation and maintenance of wetland habitats within the 150 acres of eastern open space grazing lands containing federally and state-protected species and habitat; and (3) grazing of fallowed field instruction lands. This new training center and field instruction area will supplement training center in Rancho Murieta, which has been providing operating engineers training for more than 46 years.
