Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Major Amendment 1 for the Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2011-0349-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Napa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District. Major Amendment 1 to the Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement includes: 1) changes to Measure 2.1 of the Agreement, regarding the permitted work window for project activities, 2) changes to Measure 2.3 of the Agreement, regarding use of equipment in streams, 3) the removal of measure 2.13, regarding valley elderberry longhorn beetle protection, 4) changes to Measure 2.31, regarding sediment removal activities, 5) an increase in the amount of allowable sediment removal activities, 6) the ability to beneficially reuse materials from sediment removal projects for other projects (e.g. Napa River Restoration projects), 7) the ability to conduct beaver dam management activities, and 8) changing the due date for notifying CDFW of completed annual activities and paying the respective fees.
