Document Description
The Napa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (District) has updated the Stream Maintenance Program Manual to include revised maintenance approaches, maintenance activities conducted in partnership with other local agencies, and maintenance of the Napa River/Napa Creek Flood Protection Project. The Manual provides the organizational framework to oversee routine stream maintenance activities which occur mainly in engineered channels and "collectors", modified channels, and in natural streams on an as-needed basis. The District regards itself as a resource agency with a duty to integrate environmental benefits into stream maintenance activities.
