Document Description
The GSWC proposes to drill one replacement groundwater well at the same property of an existing well. The replacement well will be used to meet current demand in the water system. The new replacement well, Mountain View Well 2 will replace Mountain View Well 1 at the same site. The existing well had a capacity of up to 550 gallons per minute (gpm), is 95 years old and is at the end of its serviceable life. Mountain View Well 1 will be destroyed. The exact potential capacity of the new Mountain View Well 2 is unknown at this time.
