Document Description
Install a second poly water tank and repair the existing tank in Kent Canyon for the Frank Valley water system in Mount Tamalpais State Park to provide a reliable and safe water source for existing park residences and operations. Work will:
• Utilize a mechanical excavator and hand digging to excavate to level an area for the new tank;
• Install a 10'x10' by 6" deep concrete pad;
• Install the new 5,000 gallon water tank on the concrete pad;
• Temporarily remove the existing 3,000 gallon tank from its concrete pad;
• Repair the pad and reset that tank; and
• Install new above-ground galvanized steel plumbing to the new tank and tie plumbing into the existing tank after it is reset
