Document Description
The City of Cotati intends to use funding from the Community Development Block Grant program, a program of U.S. HUD, as administered by the Sonoma County Community Development Commission, to construct an ADA-compliant pedestrian path of travel to Thomas Page Elementary School. The project proposes to construct approx. 800 linear feet of sidewalk, pedestrian pathways, striping, signage and curb cuts where none currently exist for a total disturbance area of 4,500 square feet. The temporary Impact area is 10,500 square feet. The proposed pathway win be a five foot (5') wide standard sidewalk composed of asphalt/concrete and decomposed granite with a binder. This project may require additional cut and fill to create a sidewalk where none currently exists. Excavation will occur in areas adjacent to the roadway, which were previously disturbed but undeveloped.
