Categorical Exemption: Class 7; 14 CCR 15307 Statutory exemption for emergency and for wildlife preservation applies to actions taken to mitigate the worst consequences of the effect of recreational take on the extremely low abundance of Spring Chinook Salmon and the consequent vulnerability of the species to extinction. The adoption of the regulation by the Commission is an activity that is the proper subject of the statutory exemptions.
