Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0297-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the El Dorado Hills Community Services District. The project activities are limited to those activities necessary to maintain the capacity of New York Creek and include the following: • Limbing and/or trimming branches and tree limbs • Removing fallen trees • Removing dead (not dormant) trees and shrubs, leaving stumps intact • Removing overgrown vegetation from the stream bed, banks, and channel using non-motorized hand tools and mechanical vegetation cutters, string trimmers, and chainsaws • Removing trash and debris from the stream channel
