Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) as the lead agency will be issuing a water supply permit. The Granville Farms, Inc. will install a 1,000 ft2 pump house and water treatment plant. The Granville Farm, Inc. will also install a 110,000 gallon water tank for raw and fire water, a new 25,000 gallon tank for treated water, and a 5,000 gallon tank for irrigation water. A concrete pad will be laid around the tanks and next to the pump house. Associated piping will be installed to bring the water to the 6 houses and office. A 1,000 gallon propane tank will be installed and another will be moved onto a 320 square foot pad. A new septic system, including 2 septic tanks, 2 seepage pits and piping, will be installed, as well as electric lines, and a transformer. An existing pipeline from the California Aqueduct will provide the water to the water system. The project will provide for the operation of the system.

Reasons for Exemption
The 3 tanks, 2 septic tanks, 2 seepage pits, 2 propane tanks, concrete pads, associated piping, transformer and electrical lines consist of construction of limited numbers of new small facilities or structures and installation of small new equipment, (Section 15303). The piping from the California Aqueduct to the rest of the system consists of operation of exiting private structures, involving no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agencies determination, (Section 15301 ). Pursuant to the California Fish and Wildlife Code, Section 711.4(d)(1), the CDFW environmental review filing fees do not apply.
