Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0285-RS, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Department of Parks and Recreation, City of Los Angeles. The Project is limited to the complete eradication of Floating
primrose-willow (Ludwigia peploides) from Machado Lake - Ken Malloy Regional Park. Floating primrose-willow Is an invasive nonnative species. Currently, 1.08 acres of Floating primrose-willow have been identified within Machado Lake.
Vegetation removal will not impact mitigation lands adjacent to the proposed project site.
