The purpose of the project is to reduce the number and severity of accidents within the project limits. The project will construct 12-foot lanes and 4-foot paved shoulders, improve the super-elevation, provide a clear recovery zone, increase solar exposure, increase sight distance and replace drainage systems to meet standards.
