DWR will make available up to 5,000 acre-feet of Kern County Water Agency's (KCWA) approved 2018 and/or 2019 SWP Table A water at O'Neill Forebay to Bureau of Reclamation for subsequent delivery by Reclamation to the San Joaquin River Exchange Contractors (SJREC) for use on lands outside of SWP place of use. This is to facilitate the return delivery of SJREC's Central Valley Project supplies previously stored in KCWA's service area. The delivery of water under this agreement is covered under the supplement to the 2018 Consolidated Place of Use Order approved by the State Water Resources Control Board on November 9, 2018 and must be completed before the Order expires on July 1, 2019.
