Reasons for Exemption
The project limits consist of the paved roadway and shoulders, and all work will take place within the ecisting roadway prism. A small portion of a wetland lies within the project limits at the bottom of the levee slope, and it will be avoided with either silt fencing or other water quality containment devices. Valley elderberry that are just outside the project limits will be avoided with temporary high-visibility fencing.
