Document Description
The Metropolitan State Hospital will remove the existing roof at the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) building and install a new roofing system with correct pitch to protect the SNF Building from further damage. The scope includes: remove, demo and/or abate existing roof; replace the insulation; inspect drains, a/c pans, and all penetrations; test and ensure that drains are operable and not leaking; inspect decking for cracks and repair as necessary; install rigid insulation; apply two piles of heavy type-II base membranes and heavy sbs cap sheet in cold process adhesive followed by a coating that meets Title 24 cool roof requirements.

Metro SH contains an Historic District on its campus, however the SNF building is not located within the district nor is it a contributor, and is not listed as a historic resource on the State's Master List of Historic Resources. This project will have no impact on historic resources.
