This research and development will advance the solutions technology readiness level and support market adoption acceleration. The fans will be installed in existing multifamily buildings in residences common areas, fitness rooms, and other areas.

This Agreement is exempt under 14 CCR S15301 Existing Facilities because it will involve the operation and/or minor alteration of existing facilities by way of: (1) installation of small comfort fans and integrated thermostats in dwelling units and common areas of existing multifamily residential buildings and small commercial buildings which will involve no expansion of use beyond that existing; and (2) laboratory testing of a ceiling fan in an existing laboratory facility which will involve no expansion of use beyond that existing.
