Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0395-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Brett Sousa. The overall project involves grading and vegetation removal for the construction of a single-family dwelling on a 20-acre parcel. This residence is planned for construction in an upland portion of the parcel outside of Leslie and Mark West Creeks. The project is limited to the construction of an 80-ft free-span bridge across Leslie Creek and portions of a new driveway falling within the riparian corridor. Abutments for the proposed bridge will be constructed outside of the channel on the north and south sides of Leslie Creek. Concrete for the bridge abutments will be "poured-in-place" and pumped across the creek with the use of a concrete pump truck. Due to a lack of accessibility to the side of the creek requiring construction, the plans call for a temporary stream crossing made from overlapping steel plates that are approx 6-ft wide and 10-ft long each. All materials and equipment will be transported across the creek over the steel plates. Once all project components across the stream are completed, the steel plates will be removed from the project site. After all project components are completed, the temporary low water creek crossing will be decommissioned through means of plantings and bank reconstruction.
