Delta Field Division staff will repair erosion along the California Aqueduct at MM 3,81, 22.20, 39.26, 45.14 - .16 on the primary side and MM 10.77 on the secondary side. Staff will remove vegetation in the eroded areas. Staff will use back hoe or excavator to remove loose material from the eroded area transporting spoils to the DFD Fish Facility soil site. Staff will load clean fill and rip rap material to be hauled to the work site. Fill will be placed in a series of soil lifts to reshape the eroded area. Compaction with a roller will occur until the original slope is attained. Rip rap will be placed on top of the compacted fill. All staging will be on the roadway next to erosion sites, stockpile and spoil locations. The entire project is within DWR right of way.
