New Drill 645-26B: California Resources Elk Hills is proposing to drill a new production well within the BV Hills Oil Field. The proposed project involves drilling a new well, completing at various intervals, using sumps and installing ancillary facilities detailed in the site plan. In addition, the proposed project may complete additional down-hole work as approved by the Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources.
Approximate depth: 9,000 ft.
