Document Description
The project includes the removal and replacemetn (in-kind) of one existing wood H-frame transmission pole (1787238E/39E). The new poles will be located within a three-foot radius of the deteriorated poles and will be set by truck. Excavation for the new poles will be completed by hand or with a machine auger, with standard depths ranging between 7 and 10 feet, and a diameter of 2 to 3 feet. The cavity created by the existing poles' removal will be backfilled wih the soils excavated for the new pole installation.
